Mount Allison University
At intersection of York and Salem, across the Dunn parking lot
From 2:45PM to 4:30PM
The solar eclipse on Aug 21 will be visible as a partial solar eclipse here in Sackville. We should start to see the effects around 2:45pm, and the eclipse will continue until just before 5pm. We’ll have the Gemini Observatory telescopes open (with solar filters) the whole time, so feel free to drop by. We also have some eclipse glasses to hand out, courtesy of Let’s Talk Science.
Check out Astronomy Moncton’s eclipse page for more information on the eclipse.
